DISHWASHER PROBLEMS

CONSTANT/LOUD SOUNDS

We are experienced in troubleshooting and fixing dishwasher malfunctions that lead to irregular noises to come from the appliance. The reason for the noises is typically a broken pump housing, washer arm bearing or motor bushing. Because these are common issues, you can be sure we will be able to fix them ASAP!

LEAKING WATER

There are primarily two reasons a dishwasher starts to leak water. The first reason is that there is a problem with the door latch or closure and the part will need to be replaced. The second issue is a failed water inlet valve that must be fixed right after our arrival to your house. We have all of the manufacturer replacement parts to fix GE, Whirlpool, LG and all name brands of dishwashers.

WON’T TURN ON

If a dishwasher doesn’t start or turn on, you should ensure the dishwasher is plugged in and that none of the circuit breakers tripped. If this is not the issue, then the problem could be coming from the door closure switches, thermal fuses, electronic controls or motor relays.

WON’T DRAIN/FILL

A dishwasher should fill with water and drain the water after cleaning the dishes. Your dishwasher will not fill if there is a broken door latch or float switch or broken water inlet valve. A dishwasher will not drain when there’s a broken drain hose or pump motor on the unit.

WON’T CLEAN DISHES

A dishwasher is not much use if the dishes are always dirty after a cycle. The dishes will sometimes be dirty if there is a broken housing gasket, filter or water tube or spray arm. We have replacement parts available to fix these common dishwasher issues right away.

DOESN’T DRY DISHES

The purpose of a dishwasher is for it to wash and dry dishes. You don’t want to have to hand dry dishes following a cycle. A dishwasher will not dry if there is a broken heating element, rinse aid dispenser or thermostat. We are able to fix or replace parts that perform the drying functions of all brands and types of dishwashers.

DOESN’T DISPENSE DETERGENT

In order for a dishwasher to wash dishes, it should be able to dispense detergent or soap in the appliance. This won’t happen when there’s a broken timer, bi-metal release or wax motor.
